I am very fortunate to have my son. He is a special young man with a heart of gold...The brain damage keeps him at a younger age but his heart is bigger than any I know. Smiles to you, Carol

I was nineteen and terrified. God blessed John and myself that day. He is a special son ...suffering from brain damage but sharing a heart of gold. Smiles to you....

Wow! What an inspirational story. You hero is your son who fought so hard against all odds and made it through the surgury but I think the doctor who did this operation is also a hero.

Tears came to my eyes as I read this beautiful story of your wonderful son. The brain is a miracle in itself. I am so glad God was standing by the doctors that day and I know he still is today. Thank you for sharing this heart warming story with us, Shirley

It was an amazing day...I was 19 and thought I would be planning my son's funeral. God had other plans. He is a special young man, suffering from brain damage, but sharing his heart with all.
