Carol,
I enjoyed your short love poem "But For a Moment." Poignant poem that is intelligently written. Awesome art work you used. The last line made me sad:
"In my heart, you remain"
A fabulous short poem with a sad story to tell in so few words.
Melissa.

This just proves that so much can be said in so few words. You have said it so well in this very short poem. So sad, but quite a testament to love. Nice presentation with your appropriate art work. And if autobiographical, so sorry for your very tragic loss. Blessings to you. This is a very sad love poem.

Yes, I lost my son when he was 4 yr old. But I was blessed to have had him those four years. Smiles to you,

I was sad when I read this. Whenever a child perishes, it's one of the worse phenomenons one can experience. Memories of a sweet child linger thoughtfully. - Thesis

Short, powerful words make this one a captivating read.
The sorrow just flows off the page into the readers heart.
Very well done, with great choice of art to accentuate your poem.
Well done.

This is a beautiful, touching, yet sad, short poem. It's hard to lose a loved one, especially a child. A great entry. Best wishes.

This is a very sad poem, full of yearning and a wish to let the child know she will always be in the mother's heart. The artwork is the perfect complement to this poignant poem. Mary

Your kind and generous words certainly touched me this morning. I found an old poem I'd written when my son died and I guess it triggered this one...Thank you so much. Smiles to you....

this message written with passionate heart and adoring, loving soul sends warm waves of emotion through my entire being. For one to focus on God's wonderful gift of love, whilst grasping at heart strings bears witness to the light that shines from this beautiful soul who lives forever more in the heart of this writer. Bless your shining light... and hugs from Melxxx

A writing prompt with a powerful and sorrowful picture of just how our most treasured gifts from God can be snuffed out in a moment of time.

Drawing from personal experience, I know that our children are but a gift for us to care for until God takes them home. Smiles to you....

Hi Mystery Author,
This brief poem of grief for a lost child is filled with yearning love and steadfast tenderness. What a beautiful tribute to this little person who was taken from the world too soon.
