Begin Again:
What nice thoughts put into this poem. "The Brightest Star is You!" I much enjoyed reading out loud.
So many times we are separated from loved ones and everybody misses each other.
Being under a star and moonlit sky offers both nostalgia, hope & consolation.

Beautiful thought dear friend. I told my young Grandson
about this same idea though we used the sun and moon.
As far apart as we are we can look at the same sight and
say hello at the same time. He's in Germany
As I told you I'm going there next week.

Yes Carol the most beautiful stars in
the sky can be seen twinkling from
an innocent child's eyes and bring
a Stella smile to the lips...

This is really neat. I have a Naani about a star that I am fixing to release, too. I love her pictures with the children. They add so much to words. Good job on your little poem. Jean

Children are the bright spots in our lives. This is a well written poem with good imagery and descriptive scheme. Good luck in your contest.

I love to watch the stars in the night sky. It's one of my favorite things to do, they are so peaceful staring down at us. You caught this feeling in a poem. Great job. Good luck with the contest.
