I agree that by getting violent is no way of showing that you don't like getting angry, just as you wrote said, His thoughts he should portray.

I'm sorry but there is no artwork even though you thank Shade for it, it doesn't show on this post. Yoda from Star Wars speaks through you in this revised piece asking for no more war or terrorism in this country of ours. You do a splendid job of speaking as though Yoda was speaking in his quirky yet wise way. You mention the "force" several times, and I remember it well, the saying, "May the force be with you!" This force is supposed to guide our planet and every other planet to do good and be kind to others. Peace and prosperity are the watch words of the "force." You write with depth and wisdom and do an excellent job of representing Yoda from the Star Wars character. Thank you for sharing your peaceful world view.

    Jesse,
It is a little cloudy and cool here. But I like to be out a little bit every day
I added artwork and changeded the notes. I have seen that some of my artwork has disappeared off my old poetry. I think it is removed if the artist takes their work down from fanartreview.

Hello Joan. I am glad you get the chance to go outside even when it is cool. I try to every day I can. I am glad I alerted you to the missing artwork and that you have replaced it. I've noticed some of my artwork choices removed in my portfolio too. There must be a reason why perhaps you are right, and that fanart pulls them if the artist wants that to happen.
    Take care,
    Jesse

Lt's hope they pull it because the artwork is sold.

Yes indeed, violence never solved anything, killing someone only provokes a violent reaction and response, which had been the way of the world for eons.. this is beautifully written Joan well done, blessings Roy

I love the humor in your poem! So often in poetry, we do use Yoda-like sentence structure in order to keep the rhyme at the end. But you did this intentionally throughout and gave us some very good lines, too!

I enjoyed your poem--esp the POV. Your words are well-chosen and the message is loud and clear. You give readers much to think about in today's crazy and violent world.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Nice, I could almost see the green ball of fuzz himself talking. That was a great poem? Lol not quiet sure what it was but it seemed like something Yoda would say. You captured his character quite well.

Thank you. My son had been watching Star Wars all weekend. One of the cable stations had a marathon playing all the episodes. So I had heard a lot of Yoda. I really liked the originals better than the prequels.

I thought this work was very descriptive and filled with insight too, but I had to read it 3x because of the incomplete sentences throughout. Thanks for letting me know about Yoda.

The incomplete senetences are the way Yoda spoke in star wars. The sentences really aren't incomplete. The are just backward. If you read the part after the period first and then the part before the period you mainly get full sentences.

example need to be at peace. The world does
is The world needs to be at peace.

Thanks Dragonpoet. I wouldn't know about Yoda because I am no a Star Wars fan and have never seen the movies. I will re-read and re-rate. PP

I found this piece of writing quite fascinating. I had to read it several times to understand it. I'm still not sure that I do. But it is very clever.
You write very differently from anyone I have ever come across. This makes your work interesting.
A picture might have been nice, if there was one suitable. Smiles, :-) Diane

    THanks for the kind review.

This is written the way the Star Wars character Yoda talks.
He almost always says his sentences backwards. The rest of my poetry is written in my normal English.

Oh! I feel so stupid! I am SO out of touch... Anyway it was very clever. No wonder it took me ages to figure it out. I have learnt something new.
