Well, I read some of your reviews for this piece and was surprised at a few. Who doesn't find PMS funny? Personally, I think it is hilarious. (Except when someone has the smart-arse statement of: "Oh, it must be that time..." LOL)

Thankfully, I'm way past PMS. ;)

I find the visual of a PMSing woman going temporarily insane and men running for cover very funny.
I enjoyed this, my friend.

I suppose humor is in there somewhere, but to many men, this topic of premenstrual syndrome is not very amusing.

Women have a tendency to make light of what is actually a severe chemical imbalance in their body for a short period of time each month ... (as you are already aware of)

So, no ... I didn't smile at your poem ...

    You could have skipped the three star review, then. Poorly written is one thing but your bad attitude is another. seems you are the one suffering the affliction?

    If I don't care for a subject or see eye to eye with a writer, I just don't review as to not insult them. You were rude here. Most women who suffer with it are not laughing, and I WAS one of them. I can laugh about it now because in retrospect it is funny to me. please don't review me again.

    it's unfortunate that you used this venue to unleash a rant of this proportion.
    The rules of Fanstory clearly state that the reply arrangement is not to be used for defending ones work, but rather to grew and learn from reviews.
    Clearly, your response is not in keeping with the intended use ...

The poem is funny and somewhat true for some women. But the first line has more than the 5 syllables it is supposed to have according to the contest rules. Maybe you can change the line to PMS is here.

A good entry for the contest, Jewell. I will admit to never having suffered from the mood shifts that came with menses- -however, when menopause hit years ago I thought I would never be sane again. Thank you - -love the swearing at top and bottom of this post. Good luck in the contest.
