Hi, Jani. This is a great epitaph with a twist and funny, to boot. I can just see the look of surprise on the youngster's face at the unexpected. Kudos and good luck.
Now, what the heck are 'kigos'???? :D
Hugs,
Renie

Yeck. I am so involved in this and it is awful. LOL
Kids do the craziest things and this is just one example of their creativity.
Very well done.

Ha! You dropped my jaw with this one! I could totally see something of this sort happening though. I little arm in the fish tank and then the look of disgust as he/she realizes its really not a tasty treat. Loved this! Thank you so much for the laugh.

Oh, Jan, this is so sad and humorous at the same time. "Here lies the goldfish" - I can imagine the fish's tomb! (lol).
"Not quite the crunchy baked treat our child had in mind". I'm still laughing. Kids love that baked stuff.
THis was adorable and very meaningful - certainly spoke a thousand words.
You are a charmer.
Love, Y.

LOL. This little piece really tickled me. I can recall some pretty hair raising events with goldfish and my kids over the years - luckily this was never one of them.
Well done.
Warmest wishes

I am not sure who this is aimed at
but although funny to adults who have
a different sense of humor. I think
children would look on this as a very
sad poem...

So, he up and died before becoming a 'crunchy, baked treat'. Oh well! It's the way of all things. Good job and good luck in the contest.

Haha. Oh yes, this made me laugh! Although, it is sad for a child to lose a little goldfish. Fortunately, they get over it quickly.
