Yes, we all need to stop and sense the beauty that is around us. It is so easy to be caught up in the negatives that happen in life.

I learned that when I opened my eyes and started seeing all the wildlife that lived around me. I go to the doctor a lot and always smile at people I pass. Sometimes that little gesture can mean so much. Great read. joan marie

I truly believe that you can touch somebody's life for the better with just a smile or a kind word. Maybe it's just what they needed at that moment. Thanks for reading. I appreciate lyour comments. Carol

You're welcome. It is a simple thing to do, smile at someone. And free. I always have been that kind of person. I talk to people in grocery lines. Stuff like that. I always talk to people at my doctor's. It seems to make the visit not so bad. jm

Feeling happy is so important within our lives. Feeling angry or sad clogs up our minds with un wanted feelings.We have so much to thank God for. The word love is so important within our lives, if and when we love others happiness usually follows.
We are human beings, we can make mistakes, love others, help others and make people feel happy. We can upset others as well and hurt them and hate them. I guess we have to make up our mind which direction we should take.

How about "your frown has lost it's place" for the last line? I think it keeps the flow going better. It's not so abrupt and still keeps the feeling of your piece intact.

Your rhymed quatrain poem was well done. Your rhymes were clever and suited your ideas. I like the use of the four seasons to depict the reasons for a person to be happy.

Great message in such a simplistic well written piece. Yes we should stop and be happy about the little things in life that we have been given of this great earth. Materialism and capitalism is the reason for the chaotic thoughts of unhappiness but if we stopped to think about a world without sun, rain, color, stars and seasons just to name a few marvels then what would happeness be? Great message for the young as well as the old caught up in a fantasy of if we only had this and this then we could be happy. Thank you for the reminder!! Nice flow and rythm.
