Thank you for the review and comments. Yes that was a bad time but it amusing thinking about it now. I've come to expect some sort of negative experience with these occasions. We celebrated Thanksgiving this past Saturday. I nearly got eaten by a dog and had to listen to a lot of stupid political negativity, but other than that it was less eventful than usual.

I really enjoyed the way you told this story. It was humorous and succinct. I could imagine your frenzy hosting over seventy people. I can't imagine how you must have felt when your husband was taken to the hospital and you remained at home alone to serve all those people, and later socialize alone after the wedding. But women are tough. Right?

I really liked your story. I can imagine how you felt after the coffee spill, the soapy episode, and then your husband slipping and fracturing his hip. On top of everything else, you had a house full of wedding guests. How did you make it through such a day?

Thank you Carol. I tried very hard to like her for my son's sake. She was around twenty years and continued pulling strunts like that. She isn't around any more, but I do have three grandchildren who thankfully act nothing like her.
