Well, leave it to the master to set the bar high. Excellent interpretation and description that touches the reader's heart (or yanks it out, or something!). Great entry. Thanks for sharing and thanks for a neat contest. Good luck.

Wow, this is sharp in execution, metaphor and message!
A bleeding heart bears much pain -- sharp penetrating precision, as your poem indicates.
Is there a poetic form that you can not master?

It appears to me that you have met the criteria. Well written with very smooth sentences. Good imagery and descriptive scheme.

'Pierced' is an extremely well written piece with a hint of vampire hovering over it. This talented poet's work was a pleasure both to read and review.

I love the art work here and your wonderful words written.
Piercing of ones heart with sadness from a broken heart or sadness concerning our loved ones and friends can be overwhelming.
I loved everyword written and the art work is superb.

Ouch! Your razor-sharp clarity pyramid grabbed my attention with its black font on red background.
Clarity pyramids are one type of poetry I have not yet attempted. They seem too difficult to me, but you have made the form make sense.
I am impressed.

Yet another form. You are a brave one for trying so many and pulling them off no doubt. I enjoyed this one, the imagery the words create makes one shudder a bit. I tought the picture was a perfect addition. Good luck in the contest.

"while hope stems the bleeding heart"
I love that phrase. You've done a nice job of describing the pain of lost love. Good luck in the contest. Karen

I had to read this many times to truly absorb the concept of the pyramid. The photo and the lines truly are very full of image. Great job with this.
