The challenge kept many away from this contest, but your piece shines. My chosen line here is "With gentleness, they hold each other up when times get tough" which truly reminds us that even siblings can be good friends.

Sue - Great tribute of your six children. A mother's love knows no bound. I see that you are leading the constest so good luck with that. Well deserved. Charlie

This was good to read and very enjoyable. It must be wonderful to be amongst a loving family and to be able to share these memories in verse. Good luck in the contest. M

This is a wonderful poem. How very, very blessed you are to have a large family of beautiful, loving children. If they have turned out so kind, gentle and good, it is no doubt largely thanks to patient and loving parenting. You have a right to be proud, for there are very few accomplishments in life that could be more important than raising your children well. Thanks for sharing this uplifting poem.
Warm regards,
Daizie

This is the second great poem I've read by you this evening!
I have only one suggestion relating to the line:
With gratitude of life's good fruits for which they've been bestowed.
I'd say:
With gratitude for life's good fruits with which they've been bestowed
But then it's your poem, not mine!
Keep up the good work :)

What a wonderful poem, full of a mother's pride. Your love for your children comes through loud and clear in this lovely poem. You've adhered to the rules very well and created a beautiful poem for your children to keep forever. Your rhyme and flow is great too. I love reading these happy, up-lifting poems about children. I'm writing an acrostic at the moment entitled 'Children'. There must be something in the air! This is a great entry to the contest and I wish you the best of luck.
Warm regards.

A beautiful tribute to lovely children. I like the diction because it renders the poem easy to read and understand. The flow was good as a result of regular rhythm, except towards the end, when the re seemed to be a break-down of the rhythm. kudos

Oh, well, I found this poem kind of boring.
I guess it's a family poem and that's kinda
nice. Still, I couldn't find anything in it
which made my soul leap.
Yours, Fish

Beautiful!
There is nothing that makes me more proud than my children -- so BRAG ON! LOL
I'm curious ... are you a foster parent? If not, this could easily apply!
(They've always been accepting to new changes in this life
Forgiving almost anyone who may have caused them strife)
I don't know why I thought of that, but it popped into my mind.
Either way, the love for your children is such a joy to "see"! The love you feel is conveyed very clearly and beautifully.
Great flow. Great writing. :)
No suggestions. Best wishes in the contest! I really like this entry.
