Blazing through here, Babs. I'm almost under 100 PMs, now!

It could use some editing, but the pain is there and so is the on-the-spot suffering.

I think if you got this edited by a professional you'd have something here you could sell, if you were inclined to go that way with it.

Dearest Barbara, I am glad you had family with you at least part of the time. I am also glad Patti is free now. I long to touch your cheek and tell you I care. Gerry

Barbara,

A hard chapter for you to write, I know. I can feel the pain in your writing. You have only a few spags here, easily corrected:

'Both of patti's son's' Capital 'Patti's'

'uncle Bill, my oldest son.' 'Capital Uncle'

'My sister, Scott, Tom, the lady from us her support, along with myself and Patti's court appointed lawyer' (Instead of, 'the lady from us,' what about 'the lady who represented us?' and add, 'gave us,' after this. You left out 'gave.')

This is such a tortuous situation to go through. For your daughter, for you and your family. Strength, physical and emotional, can really take its toll on ones soul. I feel for you Ma. God bless. Nick.

Thank you so much son. I am almost up to date with the story now. I will be happy when it has closure on the situation, though it will be painful to see the remaing evidence of her swept away. Geez not I'm tearinf up again. Much love, Blessings Nicky. L&P2u

A well told story of pain and agony for the family. It must have been awful for her son's to see their mother and knowing there was nothing to be done for her. Your description is good.

Stay well - regards jada

Hi, Babs.
I remember the only time I slept on a blow-up bed. I was stupid enough to smoke and fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and the butt had burned a hole in it and I was sleeping on the floor. I didn't realise till I got up and dried dangling my feet over the edge (which wasn't there), and fell over. That was the last time anything had 'gone down on me'. LMAO! True story!! Sorry, I digress.

I just can't understand why a family member wasn't appointed guardian of Patti. Great to see the family around again. 'They decided to discontinued all medications except pain medicine.' - What? I'd have thought that was THE most important! Poor Pati, and you to have to witness all this. Love, Ray xx

Hi L&P,
It is so hard to comprehend a stranger being given the guardianship with Patti having so many family members there. I can relate to the infection Patti had, as I am going through this with my dad at this time, although as far as I know his is due to diabeties instead of cancer. Thank you for sharing your well written story and God bless and best wishes!
