Funny how one just automatically assumes that it is a typical make driver refusing to ask for directions. (You didn't even mention a car, but the reader knows exactly where your characters are.) Good luck. Terror

The war of the egos continues, or the war of the sexes rages on. I had to laugh all the way through this. Luck on the contest.
Thank You My Friend,

Fun, fun, fun, Shelley. Well, maybe not for them. This is a universal theme. What married couple hasn't been through this? Very fluid. The dialogue moves smoothly and you have emphasized all the right places. Good luck in the contest. Warmly, Barb ;o)

This story had cute dialogue. Sometimes we do talk to each other in this way. I would have liked to know what happens after they find out that they are really lost.

Probably a very real conversation that happens every day. This did not go anywhere for me. I think it lacked creativity and in esscence, not much dialogue.

My husband was a typical man when driving - he refused to stop at a damn station to ask even if we were hopelessly late - you capture our conversations perfectly, as if you were eavesdropping!

Hi Shelly- This is so cute! I like this part- I had a good laugh-
"Yea, right. Idiot."
"Bitch."
"Baldy."
"Frigid."
"Unsatisfying."
"Whiner."
"Oh, just admit you're lost."
"Can't. I'm not lost."
I love these contests where you are forced to use a prompt. It really stretches my imagination. Fun stuff, huh?
