Any love relationship without humor is doomed from the start. If a couple cannot see some things in a humorous manner, trouble will follow. Well written with good imagery and descriptive scheme.

I loved this. You get a Gotcha on the ending. Didn't see it coming. Just goes to show you it doesn't take thousands of words to write a great story like this. joan marie

Most of my stories have "gotcha endings." I think those are the incidents I tend to recall.
Or I am channeling O. Henry.

It is All Hallow's Eve coming up, so I would say channeling. jm

the author notes on top made me smile; i think we need humor no matter what the source :-)
great opening; lol my daughters have kids 5 yrs apart; i can relate; took 15 yrs before we could leave the house without a stroller :-) at least some of the 9 grandchildren were born close together :-)
I love the ending; great story here! fits the category very well; no corrections to be found;

Glad you can take being called a monkey. Not sure I could, although I've been called a lot worse. I like your little humor story and it was a pleasure to read it. Good job.
