Oh, how I liked this poem! So well put, and your words flowed very well. There is a lesson in this one. It speaks very clearly that we can't walk in someone else's shoes. It also says we are needed more to listen than to advise! Great job! God bless, and best wishes!

Too true. I have often wondered why it is we feel compelled to think and say the things we do when trying to console or offer advice. it is far more important to listen and be encouraging.

They are genuinely good questions. Are we in charge or the higher power? Or are we given choices and yet do we get to make the choice or is that an illusion as well? Got my brain going. Well done.

And very true...we never know what another person is truly thinking or feeling...

And how often we go to someone for help, only to be told what to do rather than listen or help them make their own decisions?

And how many of us just want to "fix" another's problems?
