This is a beautiful poem my friend. I love the art work you chose. The colors were great. It was all done very well. I have twin sons that are doing their second year of college. Great job my friend. God bless. Teri

I liked this poem from the instant I saw it.
Great artwork so fitting the piece.
I adored the second line as gold and crimson entwine
The whole thing was a delight.

LOL... you know, it took me almost an hour to find the right words to express the gold and crimson together. It is a joy to know I finally found the right ones :-)

This is simply superb! I am speechless. This is easily the best haiku I have seen on this site. The rhythm of it is lovely and true. The photo isn't credited. Is it yours? If it isn't it is now, and mine! I also love the line in your profile about wanting to contribute as much as your receive---I practice "mindfulness meditation" and I frequently repeat "receiving" on the in-breath, and "giving" on the outbreath. It touches me in a deep place that one needs both.

Your comments flatter me! The picture is not credited to me though my fiance' took it... gee... I guess it DOES belong to me :-)
That is the whole purpose of sharing, I believe. One must be willing to help others if they wish to better themselves.
Thank you for taking the time to read and review my work. Your words were touching and have brightened my day.
