Just my opinion that the poem would look nice centered under the picture. Have I died to self? I think so but then I find myself doing something selfish and have to repent and try again. Thankful for a Savior who always picks me up again.
God bless you,
Sharon

Hi Miss J,
For me the death of self came when the life of others was taken by my hand. The self was replaced by a hardened shell of an empty man who lost all emotional response to life. One foot in front of the other until that man can discover "
Why" Thanks for sharing... Buddy

Wow, this was really awesome, Jewell. I understand exactly what you're saying and that's a great way to look at it. Sometimes I wonder if life is only a dream and when we awaken we're in our eternal place.

Well, life can be a dream...It is when we are aware of our spirit-man as well as our natural man that life comes into balance and deeper understanding.
Glad you liked it.

Huh? I never really looked at this kind of thought process this way...
Living without dying, and dying without living...
I think you may have just inspired my next write. Really.
"That the death
You were to
Experience
Could bring you
Life" - Made me think of my death as a sinner, and my birth as a Christian.
Thanks for sharing!

Life Line-- this is an excellent thought provoking piece, death is not the end but a new beginning, to be with our loved ones who have gone ahead and waiting for each of us to join them. great job, ron

Such a challenge you present. Nice presentation as always. You seem to have a knack for this. LOL Well done. I liked the simple straight forward wording. Nothing work though to find meaning.

I don't believe in gypsies fortune telling or how a life line predicts age. That one thing only God knows. A prophet might be able to foretell things that happen, if he's truly a man of God. Your poem poses some interesting questions. Great job! V.A.

Hi Jewell,
Just you had a look at the back cover of a book before reading.
Realization shown here is pretty good. I liked it you know it's
highly philosophical - and any philosophy about life is my always favorite.
The theme you've chosen is really appreciable.
Thank you so much.
Gautam :)
