LOL.... I think we all hit a cliched point at one time or another. I suppose it was just my time. And yes, believe it or not, I AM still around. The great blue yonder has to end at some time! Thanks again for the great review.....

I like the word choice, and the imagery is skilled, if a bit cliche. The only thing I would critique is that there's nothing to really ground us in the poem/song. "It's your turn now to pay the price", how? How are you planning on turning the tables? What exactly happened? A hellacious relationship, yes, but we never see the where or how or why.

Excellent! The story unfolds like a cat and mouse game with the precision of the hunt guiding the words. Great imagery bring the experience to life, and the chase is on... Wonderful work with great thought given to the subject mater as it is gently unfolded for the readers delight.
