This was fun, and it had a message! I really enjoyed reading this short story of yours. I have usually followed rules. LOL. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Carol,

This was a good learning lesson for Noah. If there were no rules there would be chaos everywhere like he found out. Rules are in place for a reason.

I have managed to get myself behind again. I am working part-time and I don't have a lot of time for Fan Story. It makes me sad.

Not to worry ...I am retired and I still can't keep up with everything. I just appreciate what you do when you can.

I was a lot like Noah. I thought rules were just something that needed to be broken, and I broke them all. My parent on the other hand, wished there truly was a planet where they could send. :-) Thanks for sharing.

LOl...for some reason I believe that there is some serious truth in your comments, but I am sure when it came down to it, they would never have traded you to another planet. You probably could charm them with your smile.

I was wilder than a choked duck, and they couldn't catch me with a net. So, I left home at 15 and never went back. :-)

At 15...brave young man. I waited till the day I turned 18 and walked out the door.

This was a nice dramatization on why rules are important and the need for structure in society. Leaving room for critical thinking, as every rule may not be the best to follow.

This is a wonderfully imaginative story. How do you keep coming up with something to make life better for each child in the story? These stories in a book would be a wonderful learning adventure.

I think short imaginative stories would help a younger child listen and tuck the information away so when they need that extra bit of encouragement they will remember. Thanks so much.

Another good moral here, and not only for children. Life is chaotic and dangerous if rules are not applied and obeyed. Rules are made for the safety and well-being of all, and the sooner that is understood the better society becomes. I think back to the greatest commandment of all ... love the Lord your God with all your heart, and the second follows on naturally (and your neighbour as yourself). Two simple rules, given for our blessing.

Oh yes, rules were made in households to make the home work, lest anyone My be swimming against the tide, they affect everyone, that's why people seeking to rob, destroy and murder are locked up. Beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Noah learns an important lesson in this cute story. I like your transition from reality to the land of no rules. One little fix: Noah's final words need a close quotation mark after 'every day.(') I like Noah's rules, too. Nicely done! Blessings. Carol
