I am at a loss for words. I think you used them all!
What an incredible writing to give us all food for thought! Please excuse the cliche but my mind is still reeling around from what I just read.

I highlighted this verse.

"Allow no further black, dark mind to grow.
Believe you can.
You are responsible to lighten some hearts."

In view of the state of today's world, I am going to try and sear these words onto my heart. They are so profound.

As a writer, with my word, I strive to bring understanding, to bring forgiveness, to bring acceptance to my readers, and hope they will see where I found them.

This is exactly what you have done here.

You have given much to ponder in this long, but well worth the read piece! I like the questions you propose through the son, yet the answer is clear in regard to morality and all other issues humans face.... it all about choice! I appreciate the dialogue aspect of this piece as it drives home the points and truths in a more direct kind of way....(at least in my humble opinion) Great spiritual and inspirational penning! Very well written!! I think you did a great job expressing this needed and truthful message. It seems it should be commom sense but sadly it is not. Great job on the vivid imagery and a good flow throughout as well. Very nice work!
