Your poem paints a picture. I see the daffodils swaying and feel the breeze. It gives a mini vacation from winter's wrath. The picture is bright and cheery very spring like. Together they are awesome.

cool photos and image. Daffodils and other flowers herald Spring and summer just around the corner. the Cherry trees are beginning to bloom will reach their peak in a few days here in Korea.
interesting factoid. the famous cherry trees in DC were a gift from the Emperor of Japan to the US for decades people thought they came from Japan they actually came from Korea which was a Japanese colony by then. no one knew that until recently.

Hi Cecilia,
I love the optimism for Spring. We're still in snow here in Alaska, but I'm trying to be hopeful, too. Daffodils are delightful!
This is a lovely 5-7-5. Thank you for sharing!

Dovey,
Thank you for the wonderful review. I am sorry you still have snow. In Texas it has been in the high 80's and low 90's.

Justin,
Thank you for the wonderful review. I am glad you enjoyed this poem. Here in Texas we went from winter to summer. Skipped the spring altogether. It's going to be another hot summer.

What a lovely poem! You wrote a nice poem using effective imagery and rhyme. The lines "Flower beds popping/ Daffodils smile as they sway" create a very nice image, instantly transporting the reader to a vibrant, springtime scene. The simplicity of the words, paired with the lively rhythm, perfectly captures the essence of the season. Bye line " Spring is here to stay" brings a sense of war and reassurance, making the poem both bright and uplifting. The presentation of the poem flows beautifully, with each image building on the last to evoke feelings of renewal and joy. Nicely done!
The choice of daffodils as a central image is particularly fitting, symbolizing hope and new beginnings. Your ability to create such a vivid, joyful atmosphere in such a short space is impressive. I also appreciate how the poem has a natural rhythm that mirrors the gentle movement of flowers in the breeze. Overall, it's a delightful read, full of warmth and positivity, leaving the reader with a smile.
