Thank you, tinkervic. :) I'm pleased you liked it. It was a relief from the continuing sun as well with the worry about the wife surgery. Everything felt right and I wrote this poem a few minutes before posting it. Thank you for the stars. :)

I really enjoyed your poem. Oh, when we get what we wish for sometimes we dislike it. But the words truly stated all the great stuff that rain will bring. The repetition in this poem was great. Good luck in the contest.

Your poem is beautiful. The line "I missed the rain and now it rains" feels so heartfelt - almost like a sigh of relief. There's something really peaceful about how you wrote this. And the ending leaves such a hopeful note.

Thank you, Michael. :) It was a relief to feel the love that our God has for us. Like the beginning of spring a kiss for us. Let's hope our leader don't mess it up.
