This is a gore fest in a literal way, what a messy image your poem paints.
The syllable count is right, the fun horror element works well

Your poem is so well written! I love how you built up the suspense with each line. Leading to that fun twist at the end. Blood everywhere was chilling and then the sudden "Eek! There's a mouse!" gave it a playful touch. It's so funny. This was such a fun read - spooky and funny at the same time!
