Hi Harry,
This is a strong love poem which uses repetition well to expand the love as it expanded in you. From the order in which it was written you got married because she was pregnant. The end being its just you and me seems to say the son died.
I hope I am misunderstanding it. If not, sorry for your loss.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Enjoy the rest of your day.

Your poem was wonderful, and I'm sure your wife loved it. You paid her a great honor by saying that she brought the sunshine into your life. What greater compliment can there be than to thank someone for making you so happy. A very wonderful poem.

It's touching and resonates.
I like the warm feelings this poetry evokes,
but I can also feel the pain in every word.
Perhaps it's connected to my personal experiences.
It's amazing... how it can be a mirror.
Thank you.

The poem is so romantic, and it truly feels like it's based on your own genuine experience. I love the way that you used the sunshine as a metaphor for love everlasting, such a beautiful and vivid image. The line about her bringing sunshine into your life is a compliment to your wife, and reflects the deep admiration and affection you feel for her.
It's a lovely tribute to her, and I can almost feel the warmth of your love shining through every word. Together, you will surely bask in the sunshine forever. Your poem is beautifully written, and I'm especially impressed by the nice rhyme scheme that you have crafted. The imagery is incredibly effective, and the comparison between live and nature speaks volumes. The photo you chose complements your words perfectly, enhancing the whole experience of your poem.
Nicely done! I also appreciate your very good opening verse, it sets the tone so well for the rest of your piece. The theme of sunshine is so lovely and I like how it relates to your relationship. Your comparison of love growing up"like a sprouting tree" is another beautiful touch. This is a wonderful poem with effect imagery, a solid rhyme scheme, and heartfelt presentation. Very well done!

I am not quite sure if the beloved the author writes about is the two left at the end of this sweet poem, I only know that it evokes a sense of melancholy in me... Well done.

Harry, this is the kind of hyperbole that spills from the mind, heart and
pen of a wordsmith in love...title, picture, theme and tone capture's all the heartfelt sentiments combined in the marriage of your poignant stanzas. teafor2
