Strike while the iron is hot...or not...is the delimma one faces in real life..a risk?..maybe but if one doesn't try, one will forever wonder..what of? As in below..well done!
"Strike! See 'tis hot, right for a kick now,
Clock reminds; break your dreams.
And so the beat goes on to the enevitable conclusion..'we are the masters of out fate...' Excellent as always.

Because I'm dim I guess, this poem is beginning to seem like someone trying to communicate in a language he doesn't fully understand, but thinks that he is being understood. He's not.

It's always fun to read one of your poems, even if I think you've been playing with my mind. Did the narrator hiave hiccups? Was he high or drunk? Anyway, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The strike theme is perfect. Best wishes. Ray.

I award this five stars, because I know it is very good indeed. My instinct tells me that. I am not a lover of free verse and non rhyming poetry, but maybe you have broken over my horizons and now I will search it out a little more. Well done.
