After reading it to the end, though, I went back to the beginning and I didn't get why, if she decided not to donate her kidney, she says, leaving town, starting over as an alternative?
Anyway, it IS a great gift! good story.

Your story had me hooked right away! The tension between Bree and Ben were so real. I loved the way their love for each other shone through. You built up the suspense so well! I thought it was leading to something else.
The dialogue felt natural and full of heart. This was such a touching read!

Nice entry and very vague as theme, and this is the trick because you can imagine everything, pregnancy, run-away marriage, even ... a disease. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.
