I am really enjoying this. I come from a background similar to Rebekah's religious restrictions for men and women. Just one small miss I think."I'm waiting for you to return (to?) the couch."

The plot makes it interesting, as the pair who are strangers at first find themselves under the same roof. Bridge out, power out. That's when you can deepen the emotion and learn about each one, as they learn about each other. I like the way you present her, having been raised to be a saved Christian, but under a roof where legalism chokes the liberty in Christ. I may have read too much into it, but that's me. You have me along for the reading ride. Blessings...

I enjoyed reading this chapter. It's very romantic, as usual. I would love to have Tyler as my doctor.... he is so attractive... lol

Well done!

I love this new book of yours, it has all charms and romance in the right places, how I wish this will be true in real life. I guess I am still longing for that:) in the meantime I am just stuffing myself with your pretty dreamy romance.

Thank you for this kind review. True romance is difficult to find. I feel most of the time we find it when we're least expecting it.

I hope that Tyler would be successful in recovering every trace of guilt from Rebekas mind .He is determined to face her father too . Rebecca will take some time to melt off her reservations..

It does take Rebeka time to recover and to trust Tyler. None of this will come easy. Thank you for the kind review.

This was one of your best pieces, Barb. The story flows very nicely, and you are developing things very well. You have picked a good spot for a chapter break.

Tyler seems almost too good to be true. He is taking good care of Rebeka, but I believe that's the way he'd treat anyone. Oh, dear, if he has to leave, Rebeka will probably have some kind of emergency. I'm curious to see how she'll handle the situation with her father. He outdoes the Amish in his beliefs. I hope she won't let him continue to force his beliefs on her. Look at Tyler's statement "I'm waiting for you to return the couch." I think something's missing. Seems like it's taking a long time to get that bridge repaired. Great job with this chapter! judi

So far, the bridge repair has only been 2 days and it's a weekend. Thank you for the kind review. Rebeka's father is an interesting character. We will discover more as the story continues.

I can't remember whether you had mentioned Rebeka's mother. I am assuming she's dead. You are right--those repairs do take time. My brother lives in Georgia and just got his roof repaired after it had been damaged in a storm several months ago. judi

Rebeka's mother will enter the story shortly. She will bring another dimension to Rebeka.

Tyler is so attentive towards Rebekah and has seen that she's off to hospital now for a few days to ensure that all is ok. We know so much about Rebekah from your chapter here but still need her character to be fleshed out more, possibly when Tyler speaks to her father. Thank you for sharing your excellent read, Barbara. Take care Debbie

Sorry to get my facts mixed up, Barbara. I kept re-reading but still got the wrong end of the stick:(

Well, if we're ever traveling Texas, I sure hope that someone like Dr. Tyler Butler would have an BnB for rent! He is the nicest human being and it's good that Rebeka had stumbled into his area. Getting close to Zeke is definitely a first step for Rebeka and Tyler's relationship!

Great chapter, Barbara.
You've shown Tyler though with her best interests in mind medically, he finally showed that he still is "a guy" and saw her shape and beauty (cleanly$.

I can't wait till they meet the father. That'll be interesting,

Can't wait...
John
