I lost my Mom too, almost two years ago, and I still want to tell her stuff, and then remember she is gone. She was always the one I wanted to tell stuff to. She has always been my hero. And my Pal. This is an excellent poem for your beloved mom and for the challenge. I also lost my mom in 2016. She was my best supoorter and friend. I can never full the unconditional love she brought to my soul but she taught me what that is. My self and my marriage have benefitted from my mom's selflessness and love. Your mom was a loving mom too I can tell and I understand that loss.

This is a beautiful tribute to your mom. It is hard when we lose our rock and have to go on alone. You did a great job with this poem.

This is a nice ode to your mother. She is one on the best ones from your words. I like the artwork you chose to illustrate your words.
I think the long lines break up the rhythm of the poem.
I don't don't think you need 'bandaged my knee' because that is the same as patched scrapes or you can just say "bandaged my scraped elbows and knees". Also 'and gave stern words when needed be removed and replaced by the word disciplined in the first line.

She was a loving, nurturing, a great teacher and fun, and you must have truly amazing memories, that's so special.

Very touching tribute to your mother. I've heard from different sources that Father's Day in prison, hardly anyone has a card for their father. But then Mother's Day comes, and hardened prisoner's write their Mom with tears in their eyes. This brought tears to my eyes, and it made me contemplate those memories of my mother. So, Thanks!
