Our past can catch up with us and we are harassed by those who feel wronged by us. Inviting trouble into our lives is something I am very wary of as I have aged and prefer a peaceful life. Although this is flash fiction, some people do lead troubled lives, love Dolly x x x

Your story is powerful! Alex's journey is full of danger - I can really feel her fight for survival. I like how you show the world as unfair and ruled by corruption. Her search for safety keeps me hooked and I want to see how she keeps going. Well done.
