I do really understand what's happening, however, it seems like before I know it, it's 7 something at night and I haven't even thought about supper.
Where did the time go?! Generally when it's light outside, I'm there, planting or walking or something, expecting it to be about 6 when I go in the kitchen to cook. I really wish we could do away with getting up in the pitch dark. Although I am aware that some people have to do that all the time.
BTW, that's a pretty scary picture.
Well, it's now 9:48. I guess I'd better adhere to the new regimen. g'night.

Your poem is very enjoyable to read! I love the humor! I think you've captured the madness of daylight saving time. The blame on inventors had me grinning. That last line was perfect. Such a clever way to vent about it!
