Thank you very much π guapa Ulla. I know the world is watching, it's so embarrassing. I hope trump supporters realize what a big mistake made voting for him. Trump is a puppet... useless and ignorant... all he wants is attention and power, he is happy to hand over the presidency to elon musk.

All this is incredibly frightening. I am so thankful not to live in the US while it unravels due to both of these greedy narcissistic men who have no understanding of ordinary men and women, and no empathy for anyone. Their actions are stupid and selfish, and the rest of the world watches in alarm as they see this devastation for the US unfolding, and getting worse each day. I don't know how the Republican voters are feeling right now - surely they can at last see Trump (and Musk) for who they are!

It is easy to see Musk as our next President. Fortunately,the US Constitution will not allow him this right since he is naturalized.
Trump and Musk are a dastardly duo that is trying to destroy the government we hold dear. The GOP leadership allowed his Cabinet picks to fly through, while most are not even remotely qualified to lead their agencies.
Let's hope the Supreme Court will rule against some of his most outlandish promulgations.

I didn't mean president elon musk literally, he doesn't need to be elected he is taken over trump's job, Trump is just a puppet. He is happy doing shows and photo shots or sign stupid orders like renaming the golf of Mexico and Greenland. While Elon takes over. I do hope our supreme courts and constitutional and people rising in protest will keep us safe.

The coffers are being emptied in favour of the minority super-rich. My favourite stanza: dictators take over/when we look the other way/as our democracy/ dies in darkness (great and forceful alliterative words). I also love George Santayana's quote. Your informative notes also add still more weight to your message. I think I would have added his current negotiations with Putin in which both Ukraine and Europe are excluded. All designed to give him the credit for any short-sighted resolution that might be agreed. Thank you for sharing this excellent post, MariVal. Debbie. I couldn't agree with you more. Trump is a lap dog hungry for attention and power. He is glad to let elon take over while he plays golf. He is the worse, very stupid. Elon is evil.

These are scary things. I don't know what Musk's real intentions are but let's pray that he and his companies would be the most adversely affected by his plans and not the poor people who need these programs.
Imagine what the right-wing extremists who believe in conspiracies would be saying if it were George Soros in Musk's position!!

Elon has a lot to gain from his role in government from controlling regulations and laws that affect his companies and hast made huge amounts of profit, 154 billions thus far.
I know what you mean about George Soros, republicans would loose their minds. The same with Biden and Obama, if they did things trump does.
