loving this. two suggestions. Substack is a free microblog site. You can cut and paste a document into a blog posting. Almost idiot proof. You can then upload your email contacts into Substack and your work will go out to everyone on your list. All for free. You can if you convert the document to an MP3 format using zamzar post an audio version or do a podcast. how cool is that? I would put this all together in one document as an epic poem or re-write it as aprose poem flash piece and then post it on Substack let me know if you need any help setting that up. It is idiot proof you can search for me on the site under my name jake Cosmos Aller or under the name the world according to cosmos which is my word press blog.

You've obviously done your share of reading and watching murder mysteries. You have that "the facts, nothing but the facts" tone, which works perfectly for the story you're telling. I can easily see this turned into a film noir. All it's missing is a femme fatale.
I appreciate that you revealed a few clues in this chapter, and didn't make the reader beg for crumbs. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Check for male hairdressers or perhaps female impersonators working or just hanging out in hair salons. Maybe even persons hanging out near hair salons. This person may be getting a little too comfortable, maybe even a little sloppy.
