I used to work in Casey Eye Institute in surgery. Cornea transplants are such amazing surgical proceedures. I hope yours goes very well.

Lovely artwork and nice presentation, Debi. A well written poem for Debbie with effective imagery and rhyme. A very good opening verse. We learn a lot, like where she lives in Wisconsin and the dynamics of her family. Her eBay store sounds interesting and has a catchy name.

What a sweet thing to do, to offer poetry for someone's birthday! This one is lovely and lit up like birthday candles. The overall vibe is magical, as birthdays should be. I like the lack of punctuation. it makes everything so cohesive. I need to do that more in my poetry!

Tina, once again, I am so touched by your sweetness and kindness. I know Debbie will be too as she reads these thoughtful comments. I am the one who usually does the tributes here.

Back in 2021 with illness and loneliness from missing my grandchildren after covid, God saw that I needed more in life and sent me to FanStory. Since then I realized that instead of being a blessing to others, I truly was the one being blessed. That is when I felt Him leading me to write tributes for others. Since then I have felt the reward with every poem I have written for others.
