Great imagery to start this off. I have a love of all birds and collect some houses as well. May they find the houses to be filled with love and remind me every day, to keep sign the posted. So, that I may catch a glimpse or perhaps a song they sing, that they are happy with the accommodations.
Thanks again for the read, Shadrach

Hi Lana

This haiku effectively captures an image of refreshment. The contrast between the terms "vacancy," "empty birdhouse," and "cutest chickadee" gives the reader a feeling of hope. It is a demonstration that emptiness can be filled with happiness and positivity. The images are evident and cheerful; thus, they are delightful to read. Good job!

I have 2 bird boxes in my garden, and they have never smelt a bird's beak!

Warmest wishes

Thank you for your review and comments. I have a birdhouse that is probably about nine years old. I almost threw it out this last summer because it's gotten so weathered. But every year we get someone that occupies it and build their little family. This year there is a little woodpecker in there that I have not seen before so it'll be interesting to see if it Lays eggs.

What a lovely story! It's amazing how a simple birdhouse can become a cherished part of nature's cycle. Woodpeckers are fascinating birds with their distinctive pecking and drumming sounds. It will indeed be interesting to see if it lays eggs and brings new life into your garden. I'm sure the birdhouse will continue to be a cozy home for many more bird families in the years to come.. I would appreciate an update!

    Take care

    Peter
