Excellent, I wonder if not being able or refusing to remember is a good thing, for now maybe as you can get on with your happy life, and at thirty you have a lot of adulthood to look forward to, very well written, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Thank you so much! And I truly do hope for many more years, but life is rather fickle, and no one is guaranteed tomorrow. But I sometimes wonder if my brain is protecting me.

I agree with you, the 150-word constraint is a bit severe, but after reading your post, I think you can expand this into a Novella or novel. You have the talent to capture the reader with the first few lines.
