I always enjoy reading your haiku. Your pen drips with talent and skill, dear Gypsy. This play on the word 'blue' turns it from a color into an emotion and helps to solidify the satori. I enjoyed it!!

This is a great poem in a classic haiku form. You have the balance, the nature image, and the epiphany moment, so it's all there. I think you used this classic mourning image of the willow tree to its maximum effect. estory

Beautiful as always, both with your words and the image you produced to accompany and accentuate it. I especially liked the last line - "roots deep in sorrow" - because it brought home the prolonged sadness inherent in this tree's existence. Nice work, Gypsy! xo

I can definitely see myself as a weeping willow. The phrases are brilliant. The imagery is stunning. I have known about HAIKU most of my life, but growing up in an alternative family style, I didn't have much time to explore beautiful things like this. I don't like to compliment people, but this is a quality piece of work.
