Very nice. I never owned a dog or even a goldfish, but I do know and understand that people love their dogs and pets, just as much as they do other people. And the loss of a loved one hurts no matter the species.

Touching work.

Very nice artwork and a wonderful thing to do for Cecilia. It is a good way to support her as she is missing the dog that she loved so much. You bring out the personalities of her dogs very well as they try to offer comfort to Angel. Each one approaches her with good words to put her at ease about being at Rainbow Bridge and also lets her know she can still be close with her human and vice versa. I like how you end the piece by Cecilia feeling "a tiny glimmer of peace."

A very good ending, as well as thoughtful notes about letting Cecilia know that we care. Thanks for sharing it all and for caring, too. Have a great 2025, Carol.

I've lost many of my beloved animals and they are like family to me...I wanted to reach out and hopefully help Cecilia through her pain. Thank you so much for your kindness.

My dad raised short haired pointers, and I loved those dogs even though they were hunting dogs; they were sort of pets, too for me. It was very sad when one had to be put down. I am glad you wrote the piece for Cecilia. She seems to be doing better. I'm sorry you've lost many of your animals, as well. You are very welcome for the review, Carol.

What a kind gesture to write this for Cecilia following the loss of her dear Angel. If anything is going to be a comfort, this will surely be. And a nice mention for Kratos too as he will also be missing his canine pal. Thanks for sharing, Carol. Debbie

Yes, poor Cecilia, I don't think she's ever learned to let go, we've had many pets over the years, but knew they were only leant to us for a short time, but our grieving was short, they were locked away in our heart forever, and thats where they'll stay, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

This is so well written, Carol. The emotional tugs are definitely there and draw the reader into the grief of this excerpt of the tale. The change from Cecilia's bereavement to Angel's experience is a good contrast. Great write!

Aw, Carol, this brought tears to my eyes. I'm sure Cecilia will find solace in this beautiful story. Our pets mean so much to us. It's always hard when the time to say goodbye arrives. Thanks so much for writing this. Ulla xxx

I know my pets are family so losing one is devastating. I hope that my story helped her in some way.

Unlike you, I never know the right things to say in peoples' times of need and often just don't say anything, afraid whatever might say would do more harm than good. But I'm always happy that those who speak up do what's most important: by letting Cecilia and others know you care. Thanks for sharing.

It's difficult to know what another person needs to hear. Sometimes just being there is enough. I can write what I feel, but face to face, it's more like a big hug.....

What a beautiful gift you have given Cecilia. She will treasure this story. If she reads my review I would tell her to print this story out and add a picture of Angel to it and then frame it.
I'm sure she will cherish this story, Carol. I'm so sorry she has lost her, but she still has Kratos who will give her more love to help her through this sad time. Beautiful, my thoughtful friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I can't beleive how far behind I got... Been writing all day and I've still got 196 to go.... Just know that I read every word over and over even if I don't write back right away. I love you and all your support.

What a lovely sentiment for a friend in need-a joy to read and I'm sure it will be appreciated by your friend.
A lovely story with sentiments many can relate to as well.
Sometimes I feel animals know us better than we know ourselves.
Blessings
Shirley

This is a really lovely poem for Cecilia. She is really missing her Angel. The grief at the loss of a pet is on a par with losing a close friend. You have written a really reassuring poem that Angel won't forget her either.

I hope that each of my stories touches someone and reminds them about how special love is...regardless of a person or a pet. If I can move you and touch your heart...I am blessed.
