I like the way your 5-7-5 verse evolves from the miracle of birth to the "unwrapping" of the Christian story to commitment and belief. An excellent entry for the contest. I wish you luck! Debbie

Faith takes practice, that's what John Irving said through the character known as Owen Meany. Favorite book. Belief does lie under our faith, or for some, nothing at all. Faith is very hard to follow through with, blindly we go forth into the unknown with faith as our only guide and protector. We leap off a cliff with faith that we will either fly or a net will catch us. Without faith, we'd stay atop the mountain, safe and bored.

This is a wonderful 5-7-5 poem. He was born a miracle to be sacrificed for our sin. It's a sad world that we live in because a lot of people don't believe in what they can't see.
Well done and good luck in the contest

I think this is a great faith-based 5-7-5. It seems to reverse the idea of unwrapping a Christmas present and shows how a human's feelings/faith/testimony can be unwrapped instead. Nice share.
