The birth of God's child echo's peace, comparing the birth to a sleeping child brings the reader a symbol they can relate to. Your poem made me feel calm, and the picture was perfect. Together they are awesome.

What a delightful poem. This really resonates with me by reminding me of when I was a child and slept through Christmas eve, excitement and joy even in my slumber, as I awaited the day itself, Christ's birthday

This is a beautiful 5-7-5 poem. The words of this poem speaks volumes. Jesus is the reason for the season. I love the middle line, "God's love echos through the peace" great line.
Well done and good luck in the contest.

What a wonderful and uplifting read, if I may ask,
"of this sleeping child ~" this line, why is it not (of His sleeping child) an excellent faith entry for this prompt, best wishes****kahpot

Kahpot, that is a brilliant suggestion! I was debating the best word for that space. Great feedback. Glad that it was uplifting.
