This is fabulous I love it. You captured may of the good luck charms, lucky for some and unlucky for others. I thoroughly enjoyed this, are all these things a fortunate stroke of luck or a delusional mind lol! Excellent work, I was also really drawn to this being an Irish woman myself! You got my vote.

Great poem and I am not just saying that because I am Irish. I am hugely superstitious and I can relate to a lot of the behaviours you describe here. And I do wonder if it makes any difference. The adult in me says no but the child in me says 'just do it in case'.
