Excellent chapter for our renga book. Thank you for participating. Good follow-up to Alexa Trovato's 5/7/5 syllables. Good count and connections between lines. You created a beautiful presentation and word imagery.

Well done!

Gypsy

I think it is amazing that critters and creatures have all these protective mechanisms to endure all weather, a wonderful addition to the renga book, very well written and presented****kahpot

June,

This is a nice addition to this Renga collaboration.

Consider cloak instead coat, which is what cardinals often wear for their ecclesiastic rituals.

I love this poem. The image of the cardinal in a puffy winter coat so so charming. And it perfectly captures the spirit of weathering a storm. Your ability to share this with just a few words is impressive! Keep up the great work!

June,
A nice Renga poem for a sweet bird!
I've only seen a few cardinals in my lifetime, and when I did, I marveled at their bright, vivid coloring.
It's also nice to know I'll have company on these dreary days, because cardinals don't migrate.
Blessings,
Cindy
