Hello Roy,
thanks for sharing this great post. It's incredibly vain for mankind to try and fit God into some box that we've created just because we don't want to acknowledge His existence. If we were to do that, we'd have to admit that He is right and we are sinners in need of repentance and we'd have to change the way we think and how we act. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Have a blessed day.

God is definitely not made in our image, but we are made in the image of God. God is a spirit. He is a person in Jesus Christ and he also is a person in the holy spirit. I enjoyed your poem very much and I wish you the best with all of your writing. Merry Christmas. Patricia.

It left me wanting more, but this has format restrictions. You did well to open up a vision of our lost world. On one hand is the evidence of creation and the delicate balance that allows us to live under HIS grace, but on the other hand is the evidence of a broken world. Thanks for the offering.

As Christians we know that God created us in His own image. I refuse to believe any different. It's God's love for us that gives us hope. Thank you for sharing this poem with us.

You said it when you said evolution takes a great deal more faith! Many at their final moments will realize how foolish they were to put their faith in fellow man and evolution.

Roy,
This is a great poem. One that leaves us the question what do we believe. Do we believe God created us in His image or did we actually revolve from a monkey? That is the question of the day.
Well done

You got that right, Roy. Creation changes and evolves but mutated is not the word. Viruses mutate. It's rarely a good thing. We need to stop playing God and leave it to the professional. Gretchen

I completely agree! We are the creatures and we cannot fathom the mind of our amazing Creator. We shouldn't even try but we should give Him praise for all the wonders we keep discovering!

I completely agree, my brother. Evolution is a huge lie. God made the heavens and the earth in intricate detail. To deny it denies Him. A wonderful short verse with a BIG message. Sending you my best today as always.

I have found that the theory of evolution is sad and very weak. I listen to tge learned scientist and their assumptions, and there is always a degree of arrogance that seeps out through their words that undermines how unsure they are about their own beliefs. I am so so happy that I believe in a living Creator.
Thank you for sharing.
