I'm not sure how snow would "murder lovers" but it's hard to convey much in such a brief form. Yet evil lurks all the time and especially during the stressful holidays, perhaps it happens more. Best wishes in the contest!

I must admit I never quite thought of snow in that way at all, but I do love I'm a country where it never snows except in the mountains. Beautifully written my friend, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

LOL! Okay a dark twist on the holidays here... but funny and grin-worthy nonetheless! ;) Thanx so much for sharing your pen and best of luck in the contest! ;)

Your poem is so beautiful. It is packed with emotion in just a few words. The difference between the purity of snow and the depth of its betrayal is so powerful. I love how you've given snow such a sinister weight! A well written poem.

Never thought snow an murder would be used in the same poem. Snow could kill if it caught you unawares but can't call that murder. Am I missing something here? Sorry for your loss.
