This is a six for so many reasons. Of course, you are inspired and write beautifully... That is a given! What struck me is that by posting this you are encouraging every person of faith...and those who may be feeling in need of faith to read the Bible, embrace those passages that speak to them...and "own" them by rethinking the passages in their own words and contemplating, through prayer, how they fit in their lives.
I love each of your interpretations. The one that speaks to me at this moment is: "The Holy Spirit gives us peace, and helps us all to cope"

What struck me is that by posting this you are encouraging every person of faith...and those who may be feeling in need of faith to read the Bible, embrace those passages that speak to them...and "own" them by rethinking the passages in their own words and contemplating, through prayer, how they fit in their lives.

This is a spectacular poem inspired by Bible verses.
Roy Owen through his poems taught me that trust in the Lord is paramount.
Your verses make me special in the Lord as he knew me still in the womb. And loves each one of us in great measure.

every morning I wake up...I listen to Psalms 25...
it starts off...
To you O Lord, I lift up my soul
O my God in you I trust
some time back our pastor told us to pick a phrase out
of the bible...and read it everyday for 30 days...
I love this one so much...it has got to be 9 or 10 months...
and I still listen...and at times read along with it...
I would try and pick a favorite off your poem...but I love
them all...
