This was traumatic and expressive. So often we only look at things through the prism of our own point of view. Although I do not necessarily "like" this poem, it has merit, power, and sensibility. Understanding others is the key to understanding ourselves.

The author notes leave no doubt what this is all about, though reading through it, it becomes quite clear anyway. You have done an amazing job of imagining what two terrorists might say to each other, and the feelings they must have been feeling that horrible day in September when the twin towers came down. There is much vivid descriptive language here that recreates scenes hard to forget. I commend you for your use of strong, descriptive words.

Heavenly, days, Al, that is truly a masterpiece!
You have captured the malicious glee of the members of jihad who caused the terrible destruction of new York's twin towers and the devastation that ensued.
Very realistic. Although I don't know or understand some of the words, the meaning is clear and scarily real.
very good job!

Wow, yes that was a hard read, but it takes the reader into the depth of the madness that goes on in the evil hearts of those that get joy out of destruction. It's based on reality unfortunately! Your author notes are helpful to know that you are not writing how you feel about what went on, but about the evil that is out there.

This was certainly a challenging write - definitely a controversial subject, one that I've tackled in the past. I thought that at the very least the way you presented the similarities between white collar and violent terrorism. Thank you for sharing, later daze.

very powerful poem about terrorism. You really got into the head of the terrorist and captured the reasons for their act of terror and their false motivation thinking they were following their god's will.

Your words took me back to that terrible day. I'm sure the enemy was bragging and proud of the death they brought to Americans. I believe that I understood this write of yours better than I have ever understood any of your work. I give you credit to take the time to figure out such a powerful piece. It kept me in awe the entire way through. Great work!

You pull back the curtain on the evil hearts and corroded aspirations of the terrorists. Inflict maximum death with minimum casualties for their side and an evil but in their mind theistic return on investment. It is so real it gags me to think of any man rejoicing in the savage deaths of so many...
It was a horrid, senseless, act of cowardice-- one planned to bring America to its knees. We were shaken, but the unintended consequence of these terrorists is they forged out determination to defend our country and
avenge the deaths of so many on that fateful day. Powerful indeed.

What a unique comprehensive analysis of what is going on in our world today. I actually appreciate that you don't make a big deal of using man AND woman, and say mankind instead of the politically correct demand to use personkind, etc. I'm ok with the traditional English usage.

Nice free verse about this and that and how we exist in our own world of illusions. A very unique poem and interesting wording.
