these men and women give up something
most people fight to keep...their lives...

and not just their lives...but their everything...
they should never be forgotten...and honored
through eternity...

Thank you for this poem saluting all soldier in all wars, Author. Even when our leaders were wrong a soldier does his duty. Yet, I wish my friends were here today to drink a beer with me. Thank you for sharing.
