This is a terrific sendoff for a favorite aunt who made the memories that many also share with fondness. It is a good life lived well and suitable as an example. Here's to Rose.

Hi Joanne
This is nice ode to your Aunt. She seems like a very caring and giving person. Sorry for your loss.
I was wondering why sometimes you capitalize the words aunt and uncle and sometimes you don't. Also I think there should be a comma or period between there and we in the section about the firehouse.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Happy Holidays.
Joan

This tribute to Aunt Rose is so heartfelt. The memories you've captured of her paint a picture of the kind of person she was. Your words share both the sadness of her loss and the peace of knowing she will be reunited with loved ones. It's a loving tribute that honors her memory.

Well done with this, honouring your aunt. And dementia is such a horrid, disease, it robs us of any dignity, mind you dignity is held in God, I'm so sorry Joanne, well done, blessings Roy

This is a beautiful tribute to your aunt Rose, and I very much enjoyed listening to it on 5 December my youngest daughter lost her mother-in-law who had been ill first with a stroke about six years ago and then about two years after the stroke, she became a dementia, patient and the last four years she very had very little recognition of anyone who was in the room so this was a blessing and it was. It's a blessing to know That this dear lady went to be with the Lord that day. Patricia.
