Thank you for sharing this honest contest entry with us. Yes, faith is very difficult. I'm just glad that God's grace covers us. I have no problem handing my problems over to God, but when He hasn't solved the problem in what I deem a necessary time, I tend to pull the problem back. I'm sure God gets a chuckle and gives me a head shake over that. God luck with the contest.

I think majority of people are like you (and Me) where faith is concerned WE thank God for everything that has gone well and pray when things go astray.
Mustard trees are not huge -The plant that give us mustard seeds are usually annual herbs sometimes growing as big as shrubs But there is a Mustard tree which grows in asian and African regions (we have it in India) I dont know why it is called Mustard tree in English ,WE have local names for it..(GOOGLE)

I think majority of people are like you (and Me) where faith is concerned WE thank God for everything that has gone well and pray when things go astray.

I like the relatability of this post. I believe my faith and other people's faith is pretty much what you described - smaller than the proverbial mustard seed. I also like the hopeful note your writing ends with. There is "hope" for a greater faith to blossom and mature in our lives. Congrats on your entry!

I like the relatability of this post. I believe my faith and other people's faith is pretty much what you described - smaller than the proverbial mustard seed. Thank you for your reflection on Faith, Zanya! I agree that it has to be a personal relationship with God and not something inherited from your parents. It does sound like you do have faith and trust God to grow it. We all have had to come to a point in life when we had to give a big issue over to God - parenting, health, any number of crises. I know for myself, I couldn't have gone through my trials without God helping me and the support of other believers holding me up in prayer. Best wishes in the contest!
