I have overdosed on good cheer! This was a lot of Christmas stories to read in one sitting but I'm still awake and ho-ho-hoing!
Teamwork makes the dreamwork, right?
(I used to cry at the island of misfit toys in Rudolph)
What a baby I am!

I cry when I write my stories...It's a wonder there aren't more mistakes than there are...I can't see the keyboard or the screen. So know that we cry together!

Another amazing thing about you, Carol. As the personal queen of typos, I can say I very rarely find a single "nit" in your work. It's admirable!
-
Oh, trust me...I make mistakes regardless of how hard I try and some do love to point it out...which I fix and say thank you too! I don't mind unless there is a motive behind it. Oh, there I go getting ugly in the christmas season...Delete...Delete...Delete. Love ya, Carol
-
Motive? Some snarky resentment perhaps? P'shaw. That says a lot about "them" and nothing about you!
(And a Merry Christmas to all of those Scrooges!)

I missd this one, Carol. It was a excllnt message to send out to everyone at Christmas. A true Christmas present, help one another be the best they can be. Well done, my friend. You have written many short Christmas stories that you should publish as a Christmas book for presents next year. Well done!! :)) Sandra xx

I've had several people tell me that and I might do it depending how I do with the other books. I thought I would get help with marketing and that hasn't happened. And I want to publish another. I have the cover made. I saw that I can do it from Reedsy Studio. Do you know anything about them? Both Matt and Carissa said they could help me with marketing but .... I don't see it happening. Thanks as always, my dear friend.

This is a different Christmas story with a message about being a part of the team instead of trying to do it alone, at the expense of others. Well written Carol, and a good story for children, would be quite colourful too.
cheers,

Very nice story with a great moral message contained within about teamwork and responsibility - a Christmas book for young children is here! Clever and skilful writing, coupled with imagination.

Thank you so much Wendy for the awesome review and stars. I am thrilled that you enjoyed this story. Thank you so much.
Can you tell me if you see a post for today? I've messaged Tom and he says it's not there but I can see it on the front page...Barefoot in the Rain Chap 2. But it has the wrong date...it replaced a chapter written in SEpt. Thanks if you can let me know.

I can't see it on the front page, but there is a notification about it in my messages, but I am way behind in my reviews so I haven't read it yet.
-
I heard from Tom and he said I had to post it all over again. I did just message him again because I told him I had used my money plus member cents and I shouldn't have to pay it again. We will see. But thanks for looking.
I see they have the wrong chapter on the front page... of course.
-
I still can't see it on the front page ....
-
I spent all day earning member pumps and using my ownmoney so I could get Chap 2 on the front page...then Tom tells me I have to repost which I did. Now the wrong one is on the front page and the other has to be pumped up all over again. I asked Tom why he couldn't just fix it and got no answer. Now it is late so I just used another $10 to buy a treasure chest. This is becoming a racket. Sorry for my rant!

I could really feel Jingles' desire to make something that'll surely go down in history, although he shouldn't have stolen Rudolph's nose. This is a really fun, entertaining piece that I'm sure children will love. I enjoyed reading it.

Poor Jingles just wants to be special in someone's mind and went about it in the wrong way. Hopefully, the little elf learned from his mistakes.

How do you do it? Making everything turn out all right without getting all sappy? I cannot seem to do straight niceness often. Someone must do a Slip&Slide through a blood trail or something. Nice work. Have a good week. Karen

That's what makes your stories so entertaining and fun to read. Every writer has a different style and sometimes more than one. Thanks for the kindness and the review.

Still have not been able to do a real western. Just another battle to fight. I started off with a small short story and limericky poems. I have grown right along with my underwear size. HOHOHO

This is a good story with a lot of heart. Santa doesn't get angry at Jingles for making a mistake, he just gives him a lantern to make his workroom bright enough. And Jingles did apologize to Rudolph.

Hopefully Jingles learned his lesson and will discover he can create somethng special on his own without harming anyone else. Thanks for the review and the thoughts.

Well, well, well, I thought I'd use the well rather than Ho, ho, ho, just to be more original. Another Happy Christmas story ending where Rudolph save the day. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Guess I've been hanging out with little ones too long. My mind is in the wrong gear for adult thrillers. I'll get back there soon.

Carol,
This wonderful story is a lesson for children and adults. You developed the character of Jingles so well.
Note: in the paragraph beginning with "After Santa, you spelled Santa incorrectly.
Great story, Carol.
Best wishes,
Cindy

This is a sweet story for children and the lesson is one of grace and that is a great one for kids to learn. Giving and receiving grace makes all the difference. Thanks for sharing!
