Nice imagery. By "gauze covered sunshine" I believe you're referring to clouds and "plays peekaboo with the sea" refers to the sunshine being intermittent. I can see the scene through your words. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.

Life on a beach, your words take me there, even had to put on sunscreen. The kids said "dad that is gross, put your shirt back on". My wife pointed out I have a belly now and nobody wants to see it.
