This two-line poem, Sunlight Memories, has the proper formatting and reminds the readers that the shining world is still there, though at times blocked by passing clouds. Nice.

Hello Judi,
those of us who live in the north often think of days gone by when the winds of winter buffet us about. I suppose if I lived in a warmer climate, I'd be wishing I was someplace cooler. Each place offers its own special character. Thanks for sharing gal.

Thanks for your review and comments. I would say the climate here in Indiana has changed over the years. I remember a lot more snow than we get now. (Or maybe kids have a bigger imagination.) judi

Hello Judi.
I do not write Japanese style poetry because it does not suit my style of expression. However, this particular poem reminds me of the style of an epigram, and I have published several of those. This is a good one.

It seems many of our FanStory poets enjoy writing about spring and summer more than winter. I think winter is beautiful. Maybe I need to attempt to write a poem about the wonderfulness of winter. LOL I had fun reading your renga poem.

Thanks so much for your review and comments. I believe a lot of these Japanese poems make reference to the seasons. We've had one week of really cold weather, and I've already had it with winter! I recall when I lived in Texas it was a big deal if there was freezing weather. One year there was ice on the roads, and people didn't know what to do. judi

That is a great way to convince yourself Winter isn't as bad as it seems. This is a good two verse line for a three-verse person to precede. This is a good idea for the Regna verse writer to match.
